Extra Value For Jeep Grand Cherokee
Mar 7, 2006, 09:55

Chrysler Navus
Jeep has upped the value stakes on its flagship model, releasing a limited edition Grand Cherokee Navigator pack adding up to $4,500 of extra value at no additional cost.

A touch screen satellite navigation system leads the special equipment list.

Alloy side steps, nudge bar and removable roof rack system, tow kit, headlight protectors and slimline weather shields further distinguish the limited edition.

The Navigator pack is available for a short time only on the entire Grand Cherokee range which includes the Laredo and Limited models with either the 4.7 litre V8 or 3.0-litre V6 common-rail turbo diesel engine or Limited 5.7-litre HEMI® V8. Prices start from $56,490 for the 4.7-litre Laredo model.

“People buy the Jeep Grand Cherokee for its capability, refinement, outstanding value and unmatched heritage,” said Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Group Australia.

“The Grand Cherokee Navigator takes our value proposition to the next level with $4,500 worth of additional equipment.

“Add to that a choice of three powerful engines, independent front suspension, five-link rear suspension and Electronic Stability Program for exceptional handling, and you have a vehicle capable of broadening horizons on and off-road,” said Jenkins.

Jeep Grand Cherokee sales in 2006 are up four per cent over 2005.

The Jeep range - Wrangler, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, will grow to five models within the next twelve months with the seven-seat Jeep Commander arriving mid year and the compact Jeep Compass arriving in early 2007.
