For the first time in its history Mazda Australia has achieved more than 6000 sales in two consecutive months.
Last month Mazda sold 6365 vehicles, its best February result ever, while in January it retailed a benchmark 6627 vehicles.
Year-to-date Mazda has sold 12,992, a significant jump of 19.6 per cent over the same time last year, giving the company its best yearly sales start.
For the second month in a row the Mazda3 retailed more than 3000 cars, with its sales reaching 3014. Mazda6 had another strong month with 1134 retails and Mazda2 continued at record sales pace with 629 sales.
Mazda’s new crossover SUV, the CX-7, gained more sales momentum retailing 592 in February, 42 more than the month before.
Mazda’s commercial utility range posted its best ever February result with 647 retails.
The managing director of Mazda Australia, Doug Dickson, said: “Obviously our sales are on a roll at the moment and we intend to maintain this throughout March by continuing to focus on our strengths – we will offer our customers great vehicles and fantastic value”.
