Sydney – Mercedes-Benz will open the doors of the first Airport Express sales and service centre in the Southern Hemisphere at Sydney Airport on February 6.
Mercedes customers will be able to experience the luxury vehicle maker’s new standards in customer service excellence via a host of offerings.
Valet transport to and from airport terminals, relaxation lounge, flight arrival/departure times and seven service bays equipped with the very latest Mercedes-Benz technology and equipment and will be offered to Airport Express customers.
Located on Sir Reginald Ansett Drive, the main thoroughfare into Sydney’s domestic airport, the new facility is highly visible and easy to access.
Time-poor customers can drop off their cars for servicing whilst travelling and use the Mercedes-Benz valet service to get to and from the terminal of their choice.
Those with spare time during a flight delay are in luck, as Mercedes-Benz Airport Express has been purpose-designed as a retail sales outlet too.
The new facility will showcase several vehicles indoors and outside and will further expand the metropolitan presence of Mercedes-Benz in Sydney.
In keeping with the latest international Autohaus design guidelines for its retail outlets the Mercedes-Benz Airport Express facility will deliver a luxurious experience for its customers.
Managing director of the Mercedes Car Group in Australia, Horst von Sanden, said the company’s new Airport Express concept was an important part of the brand vision for Mercedes into the future.
“With many luxury car owners travelling more often for business and pleasure, the time is ripe for a retail concept like Mercedes-Benz Airport Express.
“With Airport Express we aim to set a new benchmark in customer service excellence in the luxury car market.
“The new facility is one of several exciting new developments for the brand this year which highlight our commitment to providing first rate facilities for our customers.
“The new Mercedes-Benz Airport Express facility will revolutionise service levels for Mercedes customers who travel frequently.
“As the leading luxury passenger car brand in Australia it is appropriate that we continue to set the benchmark in customer facilities and service,” he said.
The new Mercedes-Benz Airport Express will be open six days a week, 5 a.m. – 9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturdays, making the rigors of travel far more palatable for Mercedes-Benz customers.
